BANKING - Many major US banks have branches on the Island. Most banking hours are from 8:30am to 2:30pm. Credit cards and traveler's checks are widely accepted. Automatic teller machines are available in most of the banks, tourist, and shopping areas.

MARRIAGE REQUIREMENTS - 787-767-9120. Proper identification and special documents are required. Marriage license papers must be obtained, in person, at the Dept. of Health, Demographic Registry Office (171 Quisquella St., Hato Rey). A medical certificate must be obtained from a physician in Puerto Rico. All information must be authenticated at the Marriage License Bureau. Mon.-Fri. 9am-3pm (except holidays).
