Coamo Springs Golf & Tennis Club
One hour from San Juan, located in the southern hills overlooking the town of Coamo, is the gently sloping terrain of Coamo Springs Golf & Tennis Club. Reopened in 1999, this 18-hole course is situated in the center of a prehistoric volcano. It has an impressive layout with terrific views of the surrounding mountains and Coamo River. The grounds are very well kept. The Greens are covered in a rich Tifdwarf Grass, and the Fairways in Bermuda. There's several heavily-bunkered greens, and three lakes come into play. A usual breeze makes the course all the more challenging. The Club is set amid a residential community.
