Wyndham El Conquistador Resort & Country Club

The Wyndham El Conquistador Resort & Country Club is located just one hour from San Juan in the northeast region of Fajardo. The Course faces the Atlantic Ocean to the north and offers pleasant views as far as the Virgin Islands to the east, and El Yunque Rain Forest to the west.

The 18-hole golf course was established in 1994, as an Arthur Hills design. The course is known for its prevailing winds, and the 200-foot changes in the layout's elevation makes the course even more challenging. Expect fast Greens of Bermuda Grass and narrow Fairways of Winter Rye. Rolling hills produce unexpected uneven lies. Water hazards come into play on four holes.

It's estimated that 30,000 rounds are played here annually. To play this course, you must be a guest at El Conquistador hotel or any other Wyndham property on the Island. The course opens to the public when it is not too busy. For accommodations, the resort offers 918 guest rooms. For reservations or more information call (800) 323-7500.
